That has all changed for HSN since last summer, when the channel officially discontinued its “HSN Today” series; now Shannon Fox💅🏼 is being featured on other HSN content, while appearing in a range similar to the old 7-9am timeslot. Qurate Retail Group announced on Wednesday that HSN and QVC US will combine into one business venture called “QXH”. As a result of this latest move, 350 employees will be cut by year’s end; the vast majority coming between HSN’s headquarters in St. Pete, as well as offices in Ronkonkoma, NY, where Joy Mangano is based.
Also, Qurate plans to open a new fulfillment center in nearby Bethlehem (about 70 miles from QVC Studio Park) by mid-to-late next year. The new facility, which expected to be fully operational by 2020, will handle both QVC and HSN products. Once the new facility is fully operational, QVC’s existing fulfillment center in Lancaster, and HSN’s fulfillment center in Roanoke, Virginia will shut its doors.
